Nguyen Thi Ha My
Hello everyone, my name is Nguyen Thi Ha My, I was born on July 20, 1996, in the countryside surrounded by mountains in Hiep Duc district, Quang Nam province. My family consists of 6 members: my parents, my older sister, my two brothers, and me. Seeing and understanding the hardship that my parents faced, I was always determined to study hard in order to get a good job in the future.
I felt like a little bird and spread my wings everywhere from Hue-Da Nang to Saigon to satisfy my youthful dreams and ambitions.
Thanks to my efforts, I received my education at Da Nang University of Education. With my social nature, combined with my love of learning, I also participated in volunteer activities while in school. I supported patients at the oncology hospital and organized music nights to raise funds for the children in the mountainous areas. After graduation, I felt like a little bird and spread my wings everywhere from Hue-Da Nang to Saigon to satisfy my youthful dreams and ambitions.
By the end of 2023, when I saw the information that the Giving It Back To Kids organization was recruiting Life Skills and Emotional Health teachers in Que Son, I felt like I had found the truth of life in this position. I always had a burning desire to love and help everyone, especially children with difficult circumstances. I immediately applied and was fortunate that GIBTK hired me, and now I can make wonderful contributions with my career. My work allows me to help children with difficult circumstances, while equipping them with Life Skills and Emotional Health skills in Que Son district. Hopefully, my colleagues and I at GIBTK will help to improve our homeland and country to become more beautiful, more developed, and genuinely happier.
