I was first introduced to Giving It Back To Kids in 2009, helping as a volunteer for the annual Gala event. The passion for this organization grew from there, and I found myself running the whole event by 2011 and every year since then. The Hoenecke and Kalatschan families met at Mariners Christian School in 2002 and became carpool partners for the next eight years. I fell in love with helping the kids in Viet Nam and making an impact on the kids that would change the trajectory of their lives. I was impressed with how Giving It Back To Kids would stretch the boundaries of the organization and step out in blind faith to further the Kingdom of God, and God came through every time. Giving It Back To Kids has made such a tremendous difference in the lives of so many people, and I am honored to be part of that movement.

I have worked in different industries as an engineer and IT Manager for 12 years before deciding to leave the corporate world to raise my family. While at home, I acquired financial skills and built a business providing financial tracking and accounting services for various clients while raising the children. After the children grew up and moved out of the house, I went back into the corporate world and currently serve as CEO and partner at Eurotech Refinishing and Collision, Inc.

I live in Huntington Beach, CA, and am married to Kurt Hoenecke. We have three beautiful children and seven grandchildren
